Benyon’s
Inclosure is an area of woodland close to the village
of Mortimer West End (grid reference SU 631 642).
It consists of 477 acres (193ha) of mainly deciduous
woodland. Within Benyon’s Inclosure there
is a scheduled ancient monument (Hill Fort) and
Kiln Pond. The entire area is available for public

Horse riding is restricted to specific routes for Permit
holders only.

help with the enjoyment of the area kindly: -
Take care not to disturb wildlife or any other visitors.
Keep dogs under close control.
Take your litter home.
Do nothing to cause a fire.
We
regret that no camping, overnight stays, bicycles, motorcycles,
vehicles of any sort or firearms can be permitted in Benyon’s
Inclosure.
