Estate insight for Reading University students

A dozen first year real estate and planning students from Reading University learned about the complexities of running a large estate on a recent field trip to the Englefield Estate.

Estates Director Edward Crookes and Estate Surveyor James Holbrook-Bull provided an insight into the roles of general practice and specialist surveyors to the group who were visiting on a career management trip, designed to help them make informed choices regarding their final year specialism and future career.

Commenting on the trip, one group member, said: “We feel very lucky that the course has these extra events; the incorporation of such good visits is helping me to gain valuable networking skills and increasing my confidence. Thank you to everyone involved.”
