Englefield Estate offers a wide variety of opportunities for TV, film and photography.
At the heart of the Estate is Englefield House, an imposing mansion, with a range of richly furnished staterooms. Sitting in 12 acres of formal gardens with woodlands and a walled kitchen garden, it is enclosed by a deer park, offering far-reaching views down to our lake and across the Berkshire countryside.
The House and grounds have featured in numerous films and TV programmes including Netflix's Close, Jingle Jangle and Charlie Brooker's Black Mirror, ITV's crime drama series Unforgotten and Endeavour, and Sky One's A League of Their Own. Other credits include X:Men First Class, and The King’s Speech, as well as TV adverts for EE mobile phone network and Lloyds Bank.
Photography clients include Barbour, Chivas Regal, Burtons Menswear and Condici.
The wider Estate has a huge variety of buildings, landscapes and backdrops that lend themselves to film and photographic shoots. From dry valleys and pasture land to extensive woodlands and chalk pits. We also have a range of agricultural buildings, our own Home Farm, a 12th-century church as well as private roads and drives.
Englefield has been welcoming film crews for many years and we have a dedicated in-house team who ensure that each shoot runs smoothly no matter how large or small.
To discuss your filming or photography requirements please contact our Events Manager Peter Carson on 07585 509747 or email peter.carson@englefield.co.uk.
Please note, Englefield House is a private residence and is not open to the public. The gardens are open every Monday, learn more.
