Aston Martin Owners Club hosts its Spring Concours 2018 at Englefield Estate

Englefield House will host hundreds of historic and iconic motor cars in a weekend spectacle open to the public this summer.

The Aston Martin Owners Club (AMOC) will be celebrating the iconic British marque with the 19th annual Bonhams Aston Martin Sale on Saturday 2nd June and the club’s prestigious Concours D’Etat taking place on Sunday 3rd June.

Both events are open to the public and will make a great day out for people of all ages who can enjoy seeing the iconic cars, whilst taking in the stunning gardens and grounds at the Englefield Estate.

Englefield House and Events Manager, Peter Carson said: “We are delighted to be hosting the 2018 Aston Martin Concours D’Etat and Bonhams Aston Martin Sale.  Englefield House and our beautiful grounds are the perfect setting to showcase these iconic cars and I have no doubt it will be a visually stunning event.

“We are very much looking forward to welcoming both car owners and members of the public to the Estate and I am sure it will be a memorable day for all involved.”

It is expected that the Concours, in partnership with Lockton Insurance and Champagne Taittinger, will attract around 100 Aston Martin cars, including some of the most rare and valuable in the UK and from around the world.

Marc Aylott, Aston Martin Owners Club (AMOC) secretary said: “Staging the Concours D’Etat and Bonhams auction over the same weekend offers the perfect opportunity for our global membership to gather together with our UK members and the public to enjoy two wonderful world-class Aston Martin events, while enjoying the backdrop of the wonderful Tudor-era Englefield House and its beautiful surrounding gardens and woodland.”

The Aston Martin Heritage Trust will be showcasing a special display of the V12 Vanquish. The display will include the rarely seen Project Vantage car. The creation of the one-off Project Vantage prototype heralded a new era for Aston Martin, inspiring the now legendary V12 Vanquish.
